Vu Hyunh: Outstanding Graduate Student in Criminology

Vu Huynh is completing a Master’s in Criminal Justice and Criminology, with a focus on re-entry and expanding access to higher education for those impacted by incarceration.

His work on pretrial and resentencing research deepened his understanding of the justice system and strengthened his commitment to supporting others on similar paths. Vu credits the mentorship and collaboration with faculty for helping him connect his personal experiences with his academic journey.

He plans to pursue a PhD and continue contributing through teaching and research.
