Women in Criminal Justice Club Traveled to Washington, DC
In January 2024, members of the Women in Criminal Justice Club traveled to Washington, DC. With the support of Student Success Fee funds, the Club provided a transformative experience for thirteen students -- through an excursion into the criminal justice field -- aimed at broadening their career horizons. Their objective was to offer students an educational opportunity beyond the classroom. Through exploration and discussion of key institutions such as the Capitol, the White House, the Supreme Court, the Lincoln Memorial, the Museum of Archives, and the Washington Memorial, students gained insights into the American government and the criminal justice system.
