The Data Collaboration to Achieve Food Justice is a project that collaborated with Community Services Unlimited (CSU), an LA-based organization working toward achieving food justice. While CSU has a variety of funding sources for its programs, they don’t receive funding to keep its data collection and analysis procedures up to date. Using historical program data, employee interviews, and review of academic, professional, and peer reports, the team identified best practices for data collection of the organization's various programs. The methods employed provided a template for Community Services Unlimited to tell its story through data to potential funders and stakeholders.  Capstone team: Kylee Giblin, Taya Ovaitt, Noel Renteria, Maya Vargas.
