Bio

Stephen’s broad spectrum of experience includes executive roles in government, public affairs, and consulting on eight figure political campaigns in every region of the United States.

Before becoming a partner at Axiom Strategies, Stephen was the Chief of Staff to San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, managing the mayor’s executive staff of 27 in a city with a $3.4B budget and 11,000 employees.

 Stephen’s work in electing Faulconer – the last top 10 big city Republican mayor in America – earned him national acclaim, including recognition as Campaign Manager of the Year by the American Association of Political Consultants.

 Stephen’s diverse experience and track record of turning campaign promises into executive results significantly benefit his campaign and corporate clients. Stephen’s experience includes helping corporate clients navigate complex political environments.  His high-profile clients have included Fortune 500 companies experiencing challenging communications and regulatory pressures, national professional associations, and professional sports franchises.

 Stephen has a degree in Business Finance and lives in the Point Loma neighborhood of San Diego with his wife Diana – a major league sports executive – and their children Sophia and John Parker.
