Bio

Aimee has served the communities of San Diego over 25 years working in the legislative and executive branches of the City of San Diego.  Today, Aimee owns her own consulting business called Agenda Setting, LLC. Primary service is to provide clients strategic counsel dealing with complex issues interacting with government. 

Aimee held the position of Chief of Staff for San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer. In this role she worked to get the expansion of the Convention Center, tackle the homeless crisis, make housing more affordable, grow San Diego’s economy and deliver excellent city services to every community.

Prior Aimee was COO of San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. She was the Deputy Chief of Staff to former Mayor Sanders and served as Chief of Staff to former San Diego City Councilmembers Faulconer and Jim Madaffer. Her first position with the City of San Diego was a community liaison for former Councilmember Judy McCarty.

Aimee’s community service includes serving on the board of directors for the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, Jacobs Cushman San Diego Food Bank, San Diego State Alumni Association, the Statewide Board for the California Women’s Leadership Association, she served on the Citizens Stadium Advisory Group and the San Diego Republican Central Committee. Aimee currently serves on the SDSU School of Public Affairs Advisory Counsel. 

Aimee graduated from San Diego State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration. In 2004, she was selected by San Diego Metropolitan for “Forty Under Forty Honor Roll” and by the San Diego Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” in 2014.
