Criminal Justice Student Association attended the Western Society of Criminology Conference
Twenty-five (25) Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA) undergraduate and graduate student members received Student Success Fee funding to attend the 2-day conference in Long Beach, CA. Several students presented research on panels with scholarships from the US and Canada.
CJSA President Julianna Austin shared,
“Attending the Western Society of Criminology Conference in Long Beach, CA was truly an eye-opening experience for me as an undergraduate student studying criminal justice. Not only was I exposed to many perspectives on crucial topics presented within the field, but this experience has also impacted my understanding and passion for criminal justice. I now hope to continue my academic and professional development within this field.”
