ALEO Workshop: Emergency Management & Fire Preparedness
Overview
Through presentations, panel discussion, and facility tours, this workshop provided participants with an in-depth look at the key stakeholders and strategies that shape the San Diego region’s emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.
The session was hosted at the San Diego County Emergency Operations Center and focused on the roles and responsibilities of San Diego County’s Office of Emergency Services and CAL FIRE in coordinating the region’s emergency management and services. Presenters examined how these agencies collaborate, as well as the unique factors that impact Regional San Diego’s emergency management planning and services.
