Bio
My name is Kimberly Sorich. I am a seasoned business professional with over seven years of experience in municipal and county government and eleven years in healthcare. Currently, I serve as a Senior Quality Specialist for Kaiser Foundation Hospital, a non-profit entity. I manage the administrative processes for the Accreditation, Regulation, and Licensing areas of the Quality and Patient Safety Department. We gather, track, and manage large amounts of information essential to keeping our patients safe. I manage the coordination process with government regulators and surveyors helping to ensure a 247-bed hospital maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
I strive to be a servant leader to my team in Quality and Kaiser Foundation Hospital through open communication, project management, and writing. My passion is the why behind a process and advocating for constructive ideas that drive much-needed change. My education and professional experience allow me the confidence to engage my team and other leaders with ideas about efficiency. I envision leading my team to create positive impacts on the community that trusts us to provide safe, efficient, and affordable healthcare every day.
I received an Associate of Arts Degree from De Anza College in Cupertino, California and a Bachelor of Business Administration from San Diego State University. I enjoy spending time with my family and beloved dog, watching sports, reading, writing, and visiting Lake Tahoe.
