Bio
Konrad Moore serves as an adjunct lecturer with the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and subsequently graduated from UC Berkeley’s law school. He holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and as an attorney (active) in California. Mr. Moore devoted the majority of his professional career to public service. He worked for six years as a prosecutor and for seventeen years as a defense attorney with the Kern County Public Defenders Office. He litigated nearly a hundred jury trials, including murder and other serious and violent felony cases, and served as the appointed head of the Kern County Public Defenders Office. He also previously clerked for Cadwalder, Wickersham & Taft in New York City, and worked as an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he principally worked on toxic tort litigation. Mr. Moore has authored several opinion pieces on matters involving social justice for periodicals, including the Orange County Register, the San Diego Union, the Los Angeles Times, the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
