Bio

My name is Bronti Cash and I am a passionate advocate for the protection, enhancement, and restoration of California’s natural resources. For the past nine years, I obtained a broad environmental background working at the local, State, and Federal government levels and currently work as an Environmental Specialist II for the City of Oceanside. My position focuses on ensuring public agency compliance with Federal and State natural resource protection laws, environmental education, and implementing multi-benefit habitat restoration projects. I am fulfilled in my work through an active role alongside community members and our shared connection to preserve natural resources for all to enjoy.

My long-term professional goal is to become a successful environmental leader at the City of Oceanside. I previously earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2014. A master’s degree in public administration will further allow me to implement, measure, and improve public policy for the City of Oceanside’s natural resources by enhancing my team building, management, and leadership capabilities. I am excited by the learning opportunities of the MPA degree and post-graduation, I look forward to implementing that knowledge into programs that positively affect the lives of Oceanside residents.
