Judge Katie Lewis has been involved in criminal law for over 26 years as a judge and a former prosecutor. She was a deputy district attorney for almost 15 years and has been a judge for 12. As a prosecutor, she tried many high-profile cases including several homicides. As a judge, she has presided over many serious cases and was also the criminal supervising judge for two years. She has in-depth knowledge about the court process in criminal cases and teaches about up-to-date issues occurring in the courts today. She has a lot of experience and provides real life examples of the ever-evolving current events in criminal law.
