Dr. Dana Nurge
Dana Nurge is an associate professor of criminal justice in the School of Public Affairs at San Diego State University. Dr. Nurge’s primary area of interest is juvenile delinquency, gangs, and juvenile prevention and intervention programming. She has participated in several funded research grants including one focused on examining police traffic stop practices, and another pertaining to gangs and sex trafficking. Dr. Nurge teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in juvenile justice and research methods.
