My name is Sandy Estrada, since 2016 I have been serving the Imperial County as an Administrative Secretary for the Imperial District Attorney’s Office and recently as a Deputy Probation Officer II for the Imperial County Probation Department. During my time at the district attorney’s office, I was assigned to work on high profile murder cases, child abuse cases, and welfare fraud. As a Deputy Probation Officer, I am assigned to the adult investigations unit where I conduct investigations in order to provide the courts with an adequate recommendation for sentencing.

My professional goal is to earn a position as a manager so I can focus on grant writing in order to bring more funding to the public sector. I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from San Diego State University Calexico Campus. I look forward to completing my master’s degree in order to continue serving my community.
